Blogger Frustrations
For a little update: Jason and I are in the process of rearranging. With rearranging, a huge mess comes. We are expecting company next week and are excited to have a new look. We also realize that we have too much junk! Our house is so bad right now, but I am looking forward to the new look.

What is Age?

But what I do know is that today is a special someone's birthday! Jason turns 27 today. He and I have a different outlook on birthdays. He gets so excited for the day to come. He talks a lot about his birthday. To me, a birthday is for celebrating, but I do not count down until it happens. I know when I was younger I would do this. Get so excited for the day to come. I could not wait until I turned 8 so I could get baptized. I could not wait until I turned 12 so I could go to Young Women's and Girls Camp and do all the fun things I saw my older sisters doing plus get my ears pierced and be able to wear lipstick. At 13, I could wear blush. When I turned 14, I could go to dances and wear all make-up. When I turned 16, I could drive and date. Not to my liking, but the only dating I typically did was joining my parents for their dates. I was so upset as a teenager that no one wanted to date me. "What is wrong with me?" I would often think. Looking back, I am so over the not-dating-thing-in-high-school. I am glad that my parents included me in their special weekly time. I really enjoyed going out with them. I also did a lot of baby-sitting on Friday and Saturday nights when I was 16/17.
Then I could not wait to turn 18 because I would be an adult! I was also so ready to get out of high school. I dislike my last year. Yes, there were lots of fun memories, but if I had know that I could have graduated early, I would have. Then I could not wait to turn 20 because I would be 11 days away from getting married! That is really the last age I waited for. Who cares about turning 21 because we do not drink.
I was talking with a coworker and telling her that today is Jason's birthday. She asked how old he was and I told her. She asked me my age and I had to sit and think about it for a second! Is it horrible that I am 23, turning 24 in May, and I cannot remember my age?!
I look forward to growing old with Jason. Happy Birthday Handsome!

I have been such a slacker lately with blogging. I do have some pictures to post and things to say. Give me to the weekend and I will fill you in. I will let you know how Jason's birthday went and the things I have in store for him.

Weekend in Review
This weekend was a lot of fun! On Friday evening, we drove out to my sister and brother-in-law's home to spend the weekend. We had some great conversation that evening (and some cooking on Erica's end) and before we knew, it was past midnight. The next morning, Erica had made some yummy homemade cinnamon rolls and breakfast strata. Jason had to be at his FIRST football game at 12:30. Erica loaded his stomach with spaghetti and meatballs. His game started at 3:00. We are grateful for Kristen, Tyson, and T.Mo making the drive to support him. We are also grateful for Erica, Tim, and the kidlets coming. It was quite cold. The Stillwater Outlaws won 13-7. It was a good game, but I was cold. If I am going to continue going to these games, I think I need to make myself a fleece blanket.

After the game, Kristen, Tyson, T.Mo, Jason, and I went to eat at Dave & Busters. I have never eaten there before. The food was so good. I NEVER order hamburgers when I eat out, but I ordered their bar burgers. It was so yummy. I will definately have to do that again.

Dr. Laura
Call #1: A woman calls in asking how she can get her 2-year-old to stop slapping her butt. Dr. Laura chuckled and asked why the child did this. The caller responded that he had probably picked it up from her husband. Dr. Laura told the mother that this was simple and that her husband had to do this. The next time the kid smacked her butt, the father was to pick the child up, look him straight in the eye and say, "This is my wife's butt. Only I can touch my wife's butt. When you get older and get married, you can touch your wife's butt. Do not touch my wife's butt."
Call #2 : A couple called in saying that they are having a hard time getting pregnant for the second time. The wife said that she is sick of trying. Dr. Laura told the wife to quit taking temperatures, using ovulating kits, etc. Just go back to love making and have fun with it. Stop trying. The husband, who originally seemed like he still wanted to try, said, "I am game for that" in a very "I am a typical man" voice and attitude. I just had to laugh with his closing comment of agreement. Once they had hung up, Dr. Laura said that she bet they would be pregnant within the next month or two.

46 Acupunctures, 22 Injections, 1 Exam, & 1 Shot in the Butt!
I later drove home. I think all the testing made me tired. I had to pull over and get a Pepsi to wake me up. This was so hard for me to do because I did not want those calories. I have started Weight Watchers again and have 35 pounds to lose. On top of all this testing, I had an exam at 5:30.
Jason was not feeling well today so he stayed home and went to the doctor. He ended up having to get a shot in the butt for his illness (I took pictures today, but I must have left my camera adapter at work). Jason is off of work until Monday.
PS-Our hot water heater is working again. It was defective so we got a new one!

My Crazy 16 Hour Day
So back to my crazy day, I had gone home on lunch to clean a bit. The dishes did not get done, but the kitchen got straightened and the living room cleaned. After work I had a meeting at 6. Then I ditched mutual last night to meet Jason for dinner (since we did not have hot water). Then I proceeded to the library to get some homework done. I finally got home at 10 pm. Jason went home after dinner and set up our NEW COMPUTER. Our laptop is three years old and is so slow. I was holding off for as long as possible to purchase something that big. My friend at work found me a ready good deal on a Dell. It is quite the beauty! I will have to take a picture and blog about it later.
On a happy note, my meeting yesterday for Young Women's went very well and we got a lot planned. We also at at a new restaurant in Stillwater that is VERY good, Louie's Bar & Grill on Main & 8th. Everything on the menu was less than $10.
Only one more day until the weekend. Yeah!

Super Bowl XVIII
I was cheering for the Cardinals. I thought the Steelers have had their glory and it was time for an underdog to have theirs. It was said to see them lose, but it was a close game and that last touchdown was amazing. This was the first football game that I have been excited about to watch.
*Excuse my hair that looks weird in this picture and also my body that needs some help.
